Peak hour bus services affected – Ipswich- 25/3/2009

TransLink advises that there will be a number of peak afternoon and evening bus services affected by on-going road closures in and around the Ipswich CBD area.

Police have advised TransLink that due to road repairs, traffic diversions are in place on the corners of Limestone and East Streets, Brisbane and Bell Streets, and Pine Street and The Terrace (on the north side of the Bremer River near the shopping centre).

Passengers travelling to Ipswich train station to connect with a local bus service this afternoon should walk to the Ipswich Transit Centre. The regular connecting stop at Bell St is closed to traffic.

Services impacted by the road closures include Routes 500 to 510, 515 to 517 and 529. A full list of diversions is available below or passengers should visit www.translink.com.au.

We thank customers for their patience.

For more information about public transport and services, visit www.translink.com.au or phone 13 12 30, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

TransLink will advise media of arrangements if the disruptions continue beyond today’s afternoon and evening services.
